Part of doing efficient mass pulls as a DRK, is being in Grit.
It's not like PLD where Sword oath trumps Shield oath in every conceivable situation.
Grit is integral to effective mass pulls, as Delirium'd Blood Price will sustain your DA-Abyssal Drain/Quietus spam.

True, but there is zero context to this story. The dungeon could have been Haukke Manor... which you don't need tank stance to mass pull there. I have done that plenty of times as a tank.
