Could use some Dark Knight skills and pvp advice. :)

Heya, so after basically a year long break from the game (stopped playing shortly after 4.1 released) I came back to play and catch up on story. I've been playing around with other roles other than dpsing and have found that I now find tanking to be quite enjoyable and Dark Knight has become my favorite job now. I guess it's cause I have my mental issues under control now, but I'm no longer finding tanking to be stressful and am loving being a tank. Also I've ended up leaving my old FC since it is all but dead and since I'm basically starting over by becoming a tank (not really starting over, just metaphorically with the change in roles) I've been trying to gather all the info I can.

At the moment though, my biggest thing is trying to get my cross bars in order so that I can use all my skills effectively without causing issues for myself. Oh, I should mention I play on PS4 lol. Anywho, I was just wondering if there are any job skills that are effectively no longer worth using or at least not worth having quick access too. Also, with all the role actions, are there any in particular that I can safely ignore or don't need to bother with? I mostly play casual at the moment, though I am trying to build up confidence to take on more difficult content such as savage and ultimate stuff, but that won't be until Shadowbringers where I can start fresh sort of.

Oh and is there any advice you can give me for Drk pvp? I'm trying to do the achivement for winning 60 pvp matches for the Garo horse and I'm not really a pvp person in general so I've no clue the best way to go about it so I can get consistent enough wins to get the mount.

Any and all advice you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated and I do hope to become as good of a tank as many of you are and I hope to not bring a bad name to tanking lol.

Anticipation is one skill you can safely ignore.
A 30% parry rate might sound significant, but considering that parries only negate 20% damage, and that Parry is the last to be checked after Dodge, Crit and Block, it equates to a roughly 3% mitigation.

Depending on what content you're doing, Shirk can also be ignored too. And unless you're proficient at using them at the right instant, I wouldn't try to use Low Blow or Interject.
At lower levels they're quite useful, but at higher levels more enemies are immune and the attacks you can stop are usually very fast so require good timing and knowledge of what will work.

There's no DRK Job skills that you won't want to use really, except perhaps at higher levels you might find that Unleash becomes superfluous to Abyssal Drain, and Unmend might not get much use because of Plunge/Abyssal Drain covering that function too.

Be sure when in Hidden Gorge, you stun enemy healers into oncoming trains on the tracks, or pull em with unmend. When on goblin, any enemy healers, you stun or unmend pull em into Goblin mechanics to kill em.

Its brutal, its salt inducing, its pure lulz and sheer joy for the DRK. This is how you make healers hate you forever.
