The Praetorium needs help

Per the title I know "The Praetorium" needs help. How is it ok for people, as a group, to leave the tank behind, to die, to make the run faster? Why can't we get a change to it so that its a fun place to visit? People doing the 2.0 story need it so, Why is it not a big grand ending? The ending to 2.5x is better and so is 4.5x. I get newer stuff gets better over time. Still tho Why not improve what we DO have?

Honestly, the best thing they could ever do for Castrum Meriadium and Praetorium would be to make them into large solo instances. But I doubt that will ever happen at this point...


If you're talking about the tank mass pulling all the adds before the teleporter so that everyone else can go through without killing them, and then they take the shortcut, fairly sure that's how it has been done since 2.0. I know that's what people did when I started back in 2015. People always find the path of least resistance.

I think its fiiine. People will always seek a faster route. You cant dictate or force people to play your ideal way in this game. Skip soar, skip meteors, ignore bees, ect. Theres always Party Finder for those zealous on absolute restrictions.

You’re generalizing a lot of people there. Not everyone in a country dies it the same way.
That being said, stopping for each group, and doing more mechanics both sound like they’re extending what already is a lengthy endeavour.

Elemental data centre certainly doesn't do the Praetorium mobs one-by-one (or do mechs on Glasyas Labolas as someone mentioned in another topic). No idea about the other data centres.

I say people find the path of least resistance because its true. Have you never stopped to consider why we no longer have branching dungeons with multiple paths anymore? Yoshida has said before that players will always choose the fastest path over exploring a longer path—the path of least resistance. And this is applicable and true to many things outside of the scope of this video game.
