It's funny how you should say this as I've just come back to the game after being gone for 3yrs...

When I go to check my friends list since I've been back over the last month I've only seen 2 players out of maybe 80 who have been online.

Players are quitting the game cuz it got stale if not explain to us where all those players went to that we playing yrs ago? that's right they got bored-.-

I'm currently playing alot atm because there is alot of content to get through but as soon as I catch up and the new expansion comes out will it be the same old formula? Most likely based on past expansions and if it is then it better damn well be quality at it's best, otherwise players will unsub again.

People come and go, someones personal friend list is no indicator for a lot of people quitting, also in this current phase a lot of people take a break from MMORPGs just to come back when the expansion hit.

I hope its the next FF MMO. If they have up to 7.0 planned for 14... I would be open to a new engine after that, rather than dealing with all the limitations we currently have to accept.
