    Something about this has always bothered me.. I hope SE doesn't allow it on the official forums ( - they have no control over other forums).
    I've always seen it as a sort of.. tattle-tale, crying to mommy.. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaah this person was mean to meeee!! Everyone should hate them too!!" If someone's a jerk, fine, let them be a jerk, but there's no reason to sink to their level (or lower) to ruin their reputation. If they're that bad I'm sure they'll do a good job of ruining it on their own.

    Sounds like you never played a mmo with a queue system. Usually works like this, to prevent these types of situations there is always rules in any kind of finder tool for example these are the most commonly used ones.

    1. There is no ninjaing everyone gets a fair roll on loot. No player can set loot master / quarter master, a free roll system is used. Most games have restrictions on what people can roll based on their class and if they can use it.

    2. You can kick people from the dungeon but it requires a majority vote to kick the person. Voting to kick people can not happen during combat or when there is loot in the treasure pool to be rolled on. Preventing people being kicked by someone because they want a rare item.

    3. If someone has to leave or goes afk or is kicked by majority vote because they are causing a problem. The server will replace them with someone else in the queue and you will be on your way. People have to leave all the time for whatever reason but there is always people to replace them so its not that big of a deal.

    It was intentionally done on the patch where u can auto-join party in an instances if u disconnected from game. Also, i was referring to the guy that were afraid of being kicked from party when loot drops.

    @Choyi

    "Old man" .. I am an "old lady" too..
    It makes me sad to think back on all the amazing adventures I've ever had and realize with today's "rush rush! get the item NOW! No time for anything! Want it handed to me on a silver platter! Oh and I'd like fries with that!" generation, that I'll likely never find true adventure in an MMO ever again.

    One can hope though..

    In sociology, this is considered to be a common and natural group dynamic. People sometimes complain about it, but it's usually because they're scared that they will be the ones to end up getting the short end of the stick (and I do know how that is, yet I still understand why this occurs). And there is the fact that some people actually want to get away with being antisocial. Either way, society has always been about isolating the behaviors that the group finds problematic and using guilt and shame to either scare the offenders away or force them to get in line. It's distinctively human, and it's not going to change any time soon, if ever, especially since it has served humanity so well up to this point.

    Also, I still fail to understand why this discussion has turned into a Casual Vs. Hardcore debate. To me, this is all about social engineering. The difficulty of the game doesn't even enter into the equation for me.

    Put it simply, if they add this, that will mean, any group can beat x content without coming up with a strategy of some sort. Also, this will lead to conflict in strategies as well. I think x way is better than x way... That party will never get anywhere. Just like how people kill people in ifrit, because they like standing there or over there. Which is fine, because you only need 5 people for ifrit.

    I don't expect it to change, but I wouldn't like to see SE support harassment of any kind.
    Harassing someone for being a jerk doesn't make it right.
    If fan sites allow it.. well that's up to them. Sad if they do. It would be nice to see them steer away from such vicious behaviour.
