PS4 "Benchmark"

Not sure if this has ever been requested before but would it be possible for us PS4 players to get a benchmark or some other application that will allow us to play with the character creator for the upcoming expansion?

I have a potato so I won't be able to install the benchmark, and watching videos of it isn't particularly helpful to me since I like to try out different combinations. I'm not the only one who'd like this, am I?

Haven't got one last two expansions wont get one this one either. Benchmark is just there to tell you how good your computer is for running FFXIV. Character creator is just a bonus... If they could figure out a way to let you play with the races on the PS4 when they release the Benchmark for the computer but not let you actually play with the new race that would be cool. Till then we just loose out.

It won't happen.
We asked if ps4 could get some sort of way to try the benchmark for HW upcoming benchmark, so we can make a Au Ra and nothing happened.
Like they COULD do it I think and just call it something else but the likelihood of it is really low.
We're just gonna have to be jelly until early access.

The benchmark will run on pretty much anything, especially for just the char creator. You'd be surprised how many people play the game at 10fps on laptops that can barely be used for web browsing.

I literally just decided to download the Stormblood benchmark to see if my laptop could handle it.
My highest score was 1642. (Not that good.)
But I was able to create a character in it. Hopefully my laptop will be able to handle the Shadowbringers benchmark so I’ll be able to check out the Hrothgar.

I couldn't get it to work on mine. As of this year my laptop is around ten years old. I tried to download the Heavensward benchmark but it wouldn't even open.

I can run the benchmark at the lowest settings on my potato laptop, so I'm sure you can get it running on your potato. ^_^
