A Suggestion about Dancer job quests and other jobs quests

Hi everyone!

I don't know if there is another thread about that, but...

Please, devs, include the NPC P'molminn (the miqo'te from the Ballroom dance quest at Ul'Dah) in the job quests!! She'll perfectly match on that as a Dancer :P

And please, please, please return all the NPCs from class quests (lv1 to lv15) back in the jobs quests in a latter point! I wanna see somekind of a conclusion in their endeavours involving us near the end of all expansions. P-L-E-A-S-E!!

2nd part was done for WHM in SB as we dealt with 2 characters primarily from the 1-30 class quests. I agree, it was good seeing them again too.

Unfortunately, devs tend not to recycle old NPCs from other questlines for job quests unless there's some insane reason. That being said, I'd be all for it.

On one hand that'd be cool, but the quest with P'molminn is optional. FFXIV doesn't really like to let you regress and do quests with characters prior to their current state. Instead they make those prior quests a requirement to do the new ones in the first place. They'd have to make it so that all players must complete the ballroom dance quest before starting Dancer.

Which is possible but I'm not sure they'd do that. There might be exceptions that I'm not thinking of so... who knows.

I'm cool with seeing older NPCs return in general. It's nice to see how the rest of the world has progressed alongside the WoL.

They've done that to a degree.

SB's paladin story was more a sequel to the gladiator storyline than an actual paladin story.

Monk included the pugilist npcs and your background as a pugilist before being a monk is actually plot relevant there.

The Ninja story includes some of the rogues, though as secondary characters.

Yeah "most" of the SB Job Quests re-visited chars from the original class quests.

tbh, I saw it mentioned in another thread, but I think it'd be dope if the Lord of Dance himself was the main DNC NPC (the one that teaches new abilities and such).

Not necessarily. It's been established that some quests are self contained in their own "time bubble" so to speak. The most prominent example would be the ARR CUL questline involving the Sultana, which would have been extremely contradictory to events that occurred during the end of the ARR MSQs if the player chose to undertake them at that time (omitting specific spoilers just in case). There's also the Alexander quest line, which is self-explanatory (albeit in a rather complicated way lol).
If anything SE would likely include some additional dialogue with P'molminn if the player had done the side quest beforehand, but there would be no consequence if they had not. Just like with Estinien for the ARR Dragoon quests and the HW MSQs.

I didn't entered SB yet, so, I don't know the quests involving these npcs.
I just miss K'lyhia a bit and thought that P'molminn would do a nice add to dancer quests since her participation in the previous quest.

even if someone never did the ballroom dance quest, she could appear in that future moment (just without a line or two in dialogue). No harm done...

FF was all about telling a good story. There we have a lot of laughts, cries and chills (with some goosebumps eventualy ).
If they try to keep those NPCs coming back in job quests that would add more of this stuff for us who like stories like a true Jonathas (the guy with the achievements rewards). :P
