    Just go away with all those stupid limits... the times you hit a wall or waste time due not being able to get anything are annoying...

    The limitations are there for 2 reasons. To keep people subbed and to reduce the gear gap early on.

    which is invalid as we craft 380 or upgrade that to 390 and many dont even bother to get the capped gear. I know many who got sick of the hamsterweel and im annyoed not being able to gear up tank/heal/dps equally.

    But as soon as i hit my caps or got my loot im done for the week and feel demotivated to do stuff as why? im wasting time. Heck not even the gap filler called mentor roulett is uncapped, the one roulett that helps with literally ALL ques...

    I forgot they had upgraded crafted gear. However, upon going to turn some in for 390 stuff, I can't help but notice the return on the tokens doesn't equal what you put into it this time. Just the accessories, for example, give you 3 tokens each (6 if HQ), and take 9 to get a new one. So you can't just cash in your existing gear for better stuff like you could previously, making it useless unless you have multiple pieces of crafted unneeded gear to feed it.

    Seriously, their attempts at keeping things relevant and keeping people playing is really making me just not want to play at all until July.

    It is equal tho. You may have been looking at the wrong thing, but it is 100% 1to1 for gear.

    Depending on what you are doing the crafted gear, upgraded or not, is enough. People who did the full eureka tour can also keep that gear.
    No one really needs ilvl 400 gear and even raiders need only optimized gear if they are doing speed kills.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    I think you were looking at the turn in Rakshasa gear and not turn in the Rakshasa HQ gear. If you turn in HQ gear you will get enough per piece turned in to get a 390. So a HQ wep gives 27 tokens, and 27 tokens is required for a 390 wep.
