    PSU Buzzing during game

So here recently I tried upgrading my gpu from a 1050ti to a 1070ti. When I got the 1070 put in my 750w EVGA psu fried (smelt awful >.<). So oh well I thought, went to bestbuy and got another psu (750w corsair) and it seems to be working fine.

Except that now whenever I load FFXIV there's a distinct buzzing coming from the PSU. I tried looking for a solution online and one suggestion pointed to turning the Vsync on in my graphic drivers. And I thought that helped for a second but the buzzing persists. I'm at a total loss here, has anyone else experienced this?

EDIT: I just tried opening up Overwatch and WoW, got no buzzing from the PSU. Opened ARK and got buzzing. So for whatever reason, running graphically intense games is making my psu buzz?

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

It sounds like the extra wattage necessary to run the GPU may be causing that noise, but I can't be certain. Regardless, since this is not an issue specific to Final Fantasy XIV this will be moved to 'Separate Support Required’.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
