Hydaelyn, and Zodiark's interactions with the other shards. [Theories]

I have three theories on Hydaelyn, and Zodiark on other shards.

    Theory one:

When Zodiark, and Hydaelyn split, they split into fourteen different versions of themselves. Is each worlds name Hydaelyn? We still don't know if Norvbrandt is the mirrored planet, or just mirrored Eorzea itself. If the citizens of the first shard do indeed call their planet Hydaelyn, then I assume Hydaelyn and Zodiark can interact with all of them as if there is no split. Perhaps each "shard" of themselves can be used as an aetherite, and the crystal tower is an antenna to the center of each reflection, so that they and all who unlock the stream of aether can "connect" to each world in this way. It might be possible that the Allagans merely added onto the tower. The tower could predate the Allagan Empire. It might also explain why it would exist on the first.

    Theory two:

Each shard became its own crystal god of each planet, and has independent influence of each other.

    Theory three:

That Zodiark, or split versions or him are in control of at least one or more of the shards. Just because Hydaelyn won the battle for the time being, may not prevent Zodiark's dark influence from freeing himself on another. Perhaps that is also why some fall to dark, and some fall to light.

One problem I see with Theory 1 is that Hydaelyn apparently needed to send an emissary (Minfilia) to the First Shard to help bring the Flood of Light under control. Why would she need to do this, if she could interact with the First Shard as easily as she could the Source? She could clean up the Light herself, directly.

Theory 2 is possible, but we don't have any evidence one way or another.

Theory 3 is also possible, but I'd think that the less discrete among the Ascians probably would have gloated about it by now if it were true.

One possible fourth theory is that the Shards HAVE no living god within their planet. Just a lifestream, and that's it. That might help to explain why it's so easy to doom one to a Flood of Light or Darkness, if there's no built-in intelligence to regulate things. That could be the purpose Ascians have in going to these Shards - to help keep the balance long enough for the Rejoining to happen.

I wonder how Ascians even travel between shards. Is there a Crystal Tower of Darkness? Or do they simply use the same connection that we are about to gain access to?

Ascians travel the same way the WoD travel. They have Crystals of Darkness that they can use to get to an "Inbetween Place" that isn't a Shard or the Aetherial Sea. From there they go to other Shards an posses bodies from that Shard.

The way we are going (and the way the Scions are probably going) is weird as we will not be possessing anyone. As in, we are physically going to the 1st Shard, not as just a Soul.
