The Lupin race

I know everyone is super upset about the gender locked races and all that and I know this is an unrealistic request partly because I think I'm the only one who would want this to happen and partly because I know the dev team has way to much on their plate and making new races is hard.

I would love to see the Lupin Race playable even if it were an only male or female race I would love it. I just finished the Storm Blood Hildebrand quests and after doing it all in one night I could not help but wonder why the lupin race got the shaft. I'm happy to have new races and I know the community was dead set on the viera so if any race other then that showed up there would be a roit. What I am curious about is the decision to make the hrothgar over the Lupin. Lupin were all ready in the game and were a unique race with basic movements and animations all ready finished. Also we have miqote for those who enjoy feline characters but we have nothing for those who would enjoy a more dog like character. This brings me to the Hrothgar. They were brand new so all models and assets for them needed to be made causing them to require more dev time and are feline giving us a second cat like race.

Over all I am happy for new races but I would love to see Lupin as playable. However I feel like now with these new gender locked races no new ones will be added since and new dev time for building a race will go to undoing the gender restrictions. Thank you for your time and I doubt I will get an answer to this but were Lupin ever considered to be a playable race and if not why?

Yoshi said the Hrothgar will have wolves faces as well, so that could be close to that but we have to wait and see what Hrot complete version look like

I hope so. From what I have seen in the announcement video I don't want to get my hopes up. I try to keep my expectations low so when things go in a different direction I'm not disappointed. However I have not heard that Yoshi said they will have Wolf faces so I am looking forward to seeing more information come out.
