What should I do before Shadowbringers!

My friend and I have-not played since 4.2 due to work schedules and life things. We are catching up on the story stuff, and are curious as to what players suggest not to miss from Stormblood? What are you guys doing before Shadowbringers drops? There is a ton in this game and I know I can't achieve it all. Would love some suggestions!

Well there are the Stormblood Hildebrand quests that they've recently given a normal trial to for doing the quest line.

There is also the beast tribes that recently got their joint quest for when you have max rep with all 3.

There is Eureka that people are doing last minute now if you are interested in that. Though its a bit of a grind could try for your relics.

General leveling of crafter/gatherers or odd DoW/M jobs you might want for ShB.

There are 2 new jobs in ShB that will tentatively start at 60, a tank and ranged dps, so could work on getting gear set up for them.

I am preparing for the marketboard battles of 5.0.
My crafter senses are telling me this is my time.

1) Gear up the class that you want to main in ShB - if you want to main of on the new jobs get tank-gear or most likely aiming gear of the highste ilvl possible. While we'll get new stuff with ShB obviously getting ilvl400 gear will most likely ensure that you wont need to worry to much about your gear until around level 75/76.

2) In order to help with that but also to tie up storylines from SB: Complete both raid-questlines (Alphascape and Return to Ivalice) - no need to go for Savage if you're not intrested, but I'd at least finish the normal versions!

3) If you're into crafting/gathering OR plan to get into it with ShB: Level and gear up all your crafters/gatheres - same reason as 1): It will give you a headstart with ShB and you wont need to worry about gear for a while during leveling.

4) If you're intrested in doing Eureka at all: Now is a "good" time or at least a better one than in a few months... (at least its my guess that Eureka is going to be at least comatose if not dead when ShB hits and will only come back to life - if at all - 2-3 months after the release)

Those would be the three main-things I'd focus on. More things "to do" depend on what you wish to achieve. Some of my personal goals (both reached and unreached atm) before SB ends:
- level all jobs to 70
- get all the dogs -> Ex-primal farm
- finish the beast tribe storylines

Finishing certain sidequests, mainly The Four Lords and Hillidibrand.

It really depends on what you want from the game though and how do you plan to approach ShB.
Personally I would focus on raids first, with trials second - and then keeping things like leveling additonal jobs, collecting mounts or following storylines that are mostly storytelling for later.

I am finishing my crafters and gatherers for the ishgard rebuilding in 5.0

Building up mgp to get the golden saucer mount

Finishing up the mentor roulette achievement for the Chocobo mount.

Saving up at least 20 mill gill for my standard new expansion expenses.

Finish gearing up all the other jobs I play

Finish all the quests that have no direction after the initial start.

I'm wondering about dancer though, what kind of equipment will it need. Aiming? Or are they going to pull a ninja again.
