That’s better than everyone using Courier Carrie or the grasshopper pet for everything, which has been the case in FFXI. DPS output might be the same but at least players would be able to tailor their stable to their liking.Tops I could see two pet roles, a Tank for over world soloing and a DPS pet for in dungeon, and limit "glamours" to the pets. BTW, by this I don't mean they all need to behave the same way, but lets say you get a Scorpion pet, and a Tiger pet, they both potentially would have their own sets of auto attacks and AoEs, but they all will always do the same amount of damage and have the same area coverage.
