    I am pretty sure it was implied in one of the interviews that that would be possible because they brought up mention of the lore behind the charge in teleporting in a joking manner since we technically will be teleporting between worlds.

    They've said before the max teleport cost would ever be 999 gil, I don't have a direct quote of it, but I'd bet all my gil in game they've 100% said it.
