PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell us we'll be able to teleport directly between aetherytes on the Source and the First.
I do NOT want to have to go to the Crystal Tower to get from here to there every single time.

I am pretty sure it was implied in one of the interviews that that would be possible because they brought up mention of the lore behind the charge in teleporting in a joking manner since we technically will be teleporting between worlds.
Please show support for chocobo boots to be added -> http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/323512-Suggestion-for-an-item-to-be-added-to-gold-saucer-Chocobo-Boots
Unhappy with how they implemented Mahjong? -> http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/381358-Mahjong-is-the-most-depressing-mini-game-you-ve-added-to-XIV

I'm pretty sure they said you need to use the crystals in the main cities to get between the Source and the Shard, once you are able to actually get there and back atleast.
