ok, i gonna ask something to yoshi p and it's a serious question....
i'm a samurai.... i take the katana of my defeated foe.... like any good samurai!
and.... how many time i need to kick zeno ass for get ame no habakiri that this scum did steal to us!

more seriously... ame no habakiri is one of the most beautifull katana in the game and...we beat zeno countless times and we still not get it... it's kinda sad that we can beat him and take it back.

We haven't gotten it because we haven't really beat him yet. lol And even then we may never get it. Might be a unique weapon for story purposes.

I think the reason or excuse we were given is that the design they had come up with for Amaterasu was too similar to Lakshmi.

It was a sword Susano either found in Orochi's corpse or used to kill Orochi depending on which version of the legend it is. He gave it to Amaterasu at a reconciliation gift. In XIV, the katana sharing its name was taken from the red kojin("Susano") before anything to do with Amaterasu could come into play, ironically by the woman that would become Tsukuyomi, their other sibling. I want it for glamour, but it's only tangentially related to Amaterasu.
