Ultima (can blms have it please)

This thread is basically
"Oh hey can you throw this into a L80 spell?"
Next expansion happens.
"Oh can you invent Ultima 2? I know it's never happened in FF, but..."
Next expansion happens.
"Oh hey do we get Ultima 3 now that we're on this slippery slope?"

To be fair, in some games there were Ultima II and Ultima III versions. It wasn't very common but has been done before. I don't want it in FFXIV but it's a possibility.

That's why I find the "Ultima is the ultimate spell!" argument a bit weak overall. Yes, it is. But BLMs could just get a Demi version like Summoners get Demi summons.

So i just checked the final fantasy wiki, the only time there has been ultima 2 or 3 or such is brave exvius where you can get an ultima +1 , which is just a stat upgrade ultima cos of mobile game power creep, and chocobo racing. BLM getting demi ultima could be fine cos the ultima beast uses it in fractum hard, but it could only use it because it was some freakish allagan experiment.

There has been Ultiga (Ultima III) in some Nintendo FF games. It is not very popular as I said though and Ultima is usually considered the strongest Black Magic spell but... they could do a lot to give some kind of Ultima to BLMs.
