Its more difficult to head pat tall people unfortunately :/
What bothers me about Hrothgar is that they have dark clawed hands but... Completely normal feet and toes. Seems mismatched :/
You can;t really call the Mi'qote cats, can you? They're Hyur midlanders with cat accessories, and an amazingly active male adult industry, but they aren't really cats. The Hrothregar, now those are cats. I hope there's a tail option for lion tails for full ronso feel.
For the question why they are considered a race of man and not beastman I think we may also want to look into why Dwarves who are Lalafel are considered beastman and not man. This leads me to believe that beastman is less based on looks and more based on whether that race follows modern man society norms and I think a big one would be do they worship a primal.
Though Hrothgar are beastly in appearance they most likely have structured their villages and culture in a way that is very similar to other man races and don't worship a primal.
This is also a side thought but all beastman have genders that are near impossible to tell apart from one another. Lalafels basically look the same no matter the gender. Height being the only real distinguish factor between males and females.
I mean it's nice to get a beast race I guess but I was thinking during the reveal 'did it have to be more cats?' Maybe the Hrothgar will have other options too but so far cats seems to be a big part of it.
Lion tail is best tail.
In all seriousness we didn't need another cat race. There are plenty of other animals that would have worked for the same body type as Hrothgar.
