    Did somebody mention Lahabrea? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

They even could have had him hang in Shinryu until side-jacking Zenos when he merged with the primal. Oh Lahabrea still lives... He is biding his time, waiting... Weakened, not quite whole... Split in two, one might say...

I'm looking forward to the moment Zenos and Elidibus clash and fight each other to a stalemate, only to utter those all important words...

Jokes aside, with Gaius back, I really do want him to return, somehow... Still, with what I'm currently thinking, any Ascian will probably do... I do hope that line from Praetorium turns out to be major foreshadowing...

It's hard, isn't it? Moose got Gaius back, I appear to be getting G'raha back (in some ambiguous capacity, anyways), so why not round out the set with Lahabrea?

I don't really want him back, but I concede there are certain ways it could work. If 6.0 takes us to the moon to fight who or whatever it is we can punch out to fix the balance between Light and Dark, and we emerge victorious only to fall into the Lifestream... There's really only one acceptable final adversary at that point, right? Right?

Honestly, my only struggles to accept Lahabrea's return are rooted in [A] haven't we undone enough, and [B] it would deal a serious blow to Thordan's understandable-villain status if he didn't technically score an intended victory with that killshot.

Sure, you guys get all these important plot NPCs, but what about my Morys?

(I concede I got Niellefresne closure though... even if it was so painfully not the intended story)

Also how we gonna start with Louisoix but not Darnus? Nael van Darnus, the first Legatus to be felled by Eorzean hands on the floating island of Rivenroad! Dispersed into aether before the Warrior of Light's eyes! STILL.CAME.BACK!

Looking back, I'm not even sure if the whole "Lahabrea seemed to be planning something" point was anything of note... That just seems to be how these Ascians are, based on Elidibus and Solus... Though I am still fond of the line of thought that, after experimenting with Shivas summoning, his goal wasn't to revive Zodiark, but to become Zodiark... I'm sure Emet-Selch can pick up that plan though.

Even if he never shows up again though, a tiny part of him survived the Eyes, found its way into Shinryu and onto Zenos, and is now sitting in Elidibus subconscious, mocking is many failings. I can't prove it and you can't disprove it! And if nothing else it explains why Elidibus has changed so much lately... I'm sure that's not just a natural result of everyone he manages failing time and time again, if you want a job done right as they say...

We're going to the Moon in 7.0! Yoshi said so!

Never mind it being in jest (probably), people are going to keep bringing that up now, aren't they?

But I would really like to see Lahabrea return as our actually final villain. After all he put us through in ARR, it was so disappointingly anticlimactic for him to be simply defeated by someone else in a cutscene. At very least he could have been the one that we got to defeat ourself!

If it wasn't actually an ignoble end but "saving the final showdown for later", that would seem a much better plan.

I can understand why they felt the need to kill off Papalymo cause SB was going to be Lyse story and they didn't want her under the tutelage of Papalymo anymore. Now that SB is over though, i do fear they will bring him back espeically cause Yoshi P hinted that other scions will become part of the trust system.

I kinda like the fact that Zenos didn't stay dead though. It advances the story of Ascian's possessing bodies and the game needs the main antagonist that doesn't die with every expansion. So far we had so many.....first Gaius, than Nidhogg than Ilberd and now Zenos and none seem much like a major threat till Zenos

Hey now! If everyone gets back who they want back, can we stop my 4-year long heartache and bring Haurchefant and Ysayle back, too? Pretty please?
    I joke. Mostly...

Watch this, we're gonna go to another shard where his alternate version yet lives.
Imagine this, you spot him - he smiles sweetly at you (he doesn't know you) que zoom in on your character making a sad, yet bittersweet expression.
And that would be it, you both part ways. That'd be a huge gut wrencher.

Unless Haurche on the first is a cackling villian, I'd laugh my ass off but sob like a baby if we had to put him down.

Tbh if we meet the alternate versions of the scions that would be hilarious, imagine meeting post-development Alphinaud, the SASS.

I hope we'll meet a different version of the scions, it'd actually be really fun if they were polar opposite from the ones we know (evil Alphinaud anyone? lmao)
