I could ask the same about players like you.

I find it rather entertaining that people complain that they can't get certain MSQ's done because they are that undergeared.

Not once have I complained about not being able to do any part of the MSQ.

The 390 tome weapon is a casual weapon btw. its easy to get and doesn't demand any crazy stuff...

Last time I bothered even looking at those, they took several weeks [4?] of normal mode raiding, plus a ton of tomes (that take from my weekly cap for armor.) I, personally, will just go about with my crafted weapon. You will have to survive my inferior casual dps if we ever end up in a roulette together.

Not everyone can/is doing endgame. You can get i390 Yama gear in Rhalgr's Reach.

i390 Tome weapons are now 4 weeks. Not 7. So they take even less time to get now. 1 O12N once a week for a total of maybe 10 mins of your time. Ofc, i380 crafted can be augmented to i390 just as easily. As long as someone isn't still using a weapon below i380 at this point (that isn't a returning player), it shouldn't matter too much.

I wonder if they did it this way to encourage crafting? It's honestly very silly that dungeons dont drop weapons.

I could be wrong, but none of the level 50 ARR Expert dungeons or the level 60 HW Expert dungeons dropped weapons either (beyond the first set). There's no point, because there are better weapons available (e.g., crafted and tome); especially because the dungeons are always behind with regards to item level compared to those two options.

Hopefully your weapon is HQ i380/i390. NQ i380/i390 weapons are actually on par with the i300 ones when you compare their weapon damage and other stats. So, in other words, horrendously bad.

Also, there is Eureka which can be considered side content with a touch of casual, midcore and hardcore depending on what one's goals are. If one suffers through Eureka you can get 390 gear on the left side excluding the belt and a 405 weapon. Orbonne also throws 390 gear at people though it's 1 piece per week.

It's kinda funny that the datalogs from alphascape savage are now farmable, but crystalloids from O12N are still limited to one per week.

The most readily available weapons that don't require crafting or spending gil are probably the i360 weapons obtained with sigmascape crystalloids. It might not be great but it's a whole lot better than the i300 one. Four repetitions of O8N take less than an hour and if you're doing anything at max level you'll have 1000 mendacity before you know it.

Just for clarity, I was referring to Deltascape, and yes, you can save up your Genesis for gear, but if you're in a hurry, make or buy a bunch of Rakshasa gear and turn it in to J'tandhaa for HQ Yama gear. I have both.

The 24 man isn't unlocked yet either. I'm pretty sure it's to encourage/reward people going into Savage to catch up, as opposed to coasting along.

In 4.57/58 when they unlock the 24 man, they'll also allow the Scaevan Ester to be purchased with coins, as well as unlock the crystalloids, allowing everyone to catch up much faster.

Thats why i assumed that this would be without limit but its not that it really matters.
