How to find a Guild/company?

I don't know if it's the best method, but when I was looking for a company, I used to inspect a lot of players I saw around in the main cities to look at their FC's info. The FC profile window doesn't tell a lot, but it shows how many members they have (total and currently online), if they have a house (and where), and if the FC leader set it it can have a brief description, selections of which types of activities they're most involved in, and whether or not they're currently recruiting new members. Particularly if you're looking for an FC with plenty of active members, just noticing which FC tags appear by players names a lot can give you a clue on that, too.

Once you find FC's you're interested in, you can either submit an application to the FC through the FC profile window, or can ask a player from that FC if they can recruit you (or who can if they don't have recruiting privileges).
