This isn't a bug or a complaint or anything, but more of a wish I hope will one-day happen. I've been replaying back through the game with a friend new to the game. Anyway, I definitely like all of the aspects of "the calamity" talked about in the story and how it was done. I'm sure there are many new players that probably don't have friends to run stuff with when they hit the end-game, but they do want to see this content. My wish is this: that the Binding Coils of Bahamut (BCoB) can be added to the duty roulette for those that do want to see that story to it's completion.
Now, I don't think in their current state they can just be dropped in the duty roulette as there are some mechanics that are unforgiving so the second part of this wish is that separate/easier ones are created that are the ones picked up by the duty finder (they can be named like "Turn 1 (normal)" or something and the original ones can be like "Turn 1 (hard)" kind of like how some of the primals in 2.0 were done).
And how would they be adjusted? Well since in the duty finder people will be synced to level 50 and iLevel 130 (or something) my hope is that you can do them as easily as you can do the Alexander Raids and Omegascape Raids. This means that some of the mechanics for these "normal" BCoB turns may have to be adjusted. Here are just some that come to mind for the first few turns:
Turn 1: make ADS paralysis esunable, and Caduceus maybe make it's damage stacks grow slower (not sure much needs to be changed about Caduceus especially if ppl are synced to iLv 130)
Turn 2: make the allagan rot mechanic nurfed a bit (so maybe longer timer and immunity has lower timer). I do like the mechanic and how it wipes you if messed up (despite me saying get rid of some of the instant death mechanics), but maybe if a wipe happens, the group can just go straight back to the boss. It could also be something that if it explodes, it does massive damage to raid and puts the rot on someone else randomly. Not sure the best way to change it
Turn 3: I would just scrap it, but if it has to be there, maybe have no enemies and anyone can just solo queue to this one or something
Turn 4: take of "reflect magical damage" on the clockwork knight. Other than that, I'm not sure much needs to be changed (especially if the sync is iLevel 110 or larger)
Turn 5: make twister telegraphed, make fire wall not kill instantly if you are divebombed into it, and possibly make big snake have less HP or something.
Anyway, the main idea is "small changes" so that they don't have to be completely reprogrammed.
Anyway, this is my wish for the duty finder. Maybe like one person could look at/improve this on Yoshi P's team: I definitely don't think/want a lot of ppl to spend bunches of time on it as I know they have a lot of other stuff to do.
