Wow, really? Does that also mean we will actually get good crafting gear that goes all the way up to blue gear? (Like for example, ironworks crafting and gathering gear in 3.0 HW.)

No one really knows yet but Yoshi-P said crafters/gathers will be getting a lot of content this time and "end game". I would assume new gear is part of the package.
