Did I say there wouldn't be?Don't kid yourself about these two quests, they can have you talking to several dozen npc's in almost 6 different zones, maybe with several dungeon runs inbetween.
Don't think because there are just 2 quests that there won't be a mountain of fluff between accepting and finishing the quest
There's more nuance to this.
Prior to now, the original ARR primals were Invulnerable (it was unmarked, but they were) while charging and briefly after using their 2hrs. Anything you did to them during that time wouldn't count, including trying to build stacks or maintain BLM element. This change makes it so that you can still debuff them, build stacks, etc, even though they're not taking any damage.
Invulnerable means nothing happens at all when you hit them. Invincible means you can still hit them, but they take 0 damage.

Error 3102 Club, Order of the 52nd Hour
I totally forgot about the maintenance tonight and I honestly just wanted to log in and work on my alts, never mind the MSQ update.
But, I have plenty of boring and tedious work to do for my contract job, so I'm doing that at the moment while also listening to music on Youtube.
Currently been listening to random things from these two channels at the moment.

Good shout. Recognized the difference and the cause for change immediately. It's super frustrating if, in all the flashy effects, you fail to realize invulnerability, and suddenly your stacks end despite maintaining rotation. There's more nuance to this.

Interested to see the results of the rest of the changes, tho. Dunno about the rest of the primals, but I know lately I've been seeing some well geared groups clearing Ifrit Extreme with no regard to nails, being able to push damage and kill him before it triggers the wipe. While I can sorta understand wanting to mitigate that behavior, if that's what they've enacted, will also be a bit disappointing that power creep won't be making things easier into the future.
