I might be jumping the gun here...(FF15 crossover speculation)

I'm crossing my fingers that those weapons are what Noctis uses and we're getting a completely different set of designed weapons. I get the logic behind re-using AF2 weapons (At least, I think that's what those are) for cost-effective measures--plus they might come with different aura effect--but I guess I was kinda hoping for some FF15 styled weapons.


Anyways, crossing my fingers I'm dead wrong about this and if I'm right, well...at least we'll have the regalia

Well, they kind of look like the Armiger or royal weapons from XV, so they probably have him using them instead of the actual ones since he's in this realm or whatever.

Mix of AF1 to 3, maybe, that's Thryus and the Artemis Bow, so the sword must be Curtana. The rapier is definitely Murgleis and the globe looks like Deneb.

I... hope it doesn't mean we're getting glowy transparent versions or our first relics... <.<

I'm hoping we get some of the weapons as glamour from XV that are in the game (I mean they'd have to make some new ones, but they could repurpose the looks of some of them to give us more glamour)

Based on their promo site, it's as you said... event items are mount, hair and armor. Also, "Players can also receive a new Triple Triad card and orchestrion rolls" I don't see ANY mention of weapons.

By the looks of things we are going to be entering an encounter with Garuda and using some sort of action to jump around and whatnot like we can in FF XV. Perhaps the weapons are going to be useable during the encounter in some form. I would think that if they were actual rewards they would have been mentioned.
