Details of Novus Zodiac Weapons questline.

Ive started this quest and am using the wiki to find details.

Its not specific for curtana and holy shield. It says I have to attach 75 materia to a scroll. 50 for sword 25 for shield. Does that mean 2 scrolls, one with 50 materia, one with 25 materia. Or does it mean 1 scroll with 75 materia on it?

PLD has two scrolls, one specifically for the sword and one specifically for the shield. Back when this was current, it allowed us to finish one or the other and upgrade it immediately without having to wait to finish both at the same time.

I didnt realise there were specific scrolls for each weapon. Now its clear. Thanks.

New question though. The game now says 53 materia for the weapon and 22 for the shield. Is the guide out of date?

It's not out of date, it's just incorrect. It's always been 53/22. Whoever wrote it was probably just working off of memory.
