After Server split my friends are gone ;(

Greetings all i hope this reaches a GM, i'm sadly worried about the server split, YES I KNOW that we have 2 weeks of free transfers but i can't leave my server, i have my guild and i made friends in my server but sadly i have other friends with the same issue on servers that are gonna be outside my data cluster, i do understand the split is to facilitate connections, my friends however i won't see them again or play with them on Party Finder ;(.

If only after the separation we can keep people outside our data clusters to continue playing then all would be fine but they will be deleted(Unable to Retrieve) and its just so sad for me that i can't no longer communicate with them because of this issues of guilds, raid teams etc, i wish the party finder and friend list to be intact with the ability to still have friends outside our data clusters. I apologize but this is why i sadly don't like this data separation

This wont reach the GMs here since the feedback-part is only about localization issues, aka text etc. - not about gameplay or decisions like that.
This topic has also been discussed over and over again and it pretty much boils down to: Doesnt matter that you - and other people - dont like it, the devs evaluated their options and picked this as the best possible one for them to handle right now. No amount of complaining is going to change this now.

I'd also like to point out that I call bs on the whole "I cant communicate with my friends because of the server split". Arent we all using Discord by now? Arent alt-characters a thing? If you want to stay in touch with your friends, you very much can - up to you though... you can totally have friends outside of your mains datacenter.

server split might have just killed FFXIV for EU players!

There less than half the amount of PFinders up now, its takiung 3x as long to fill them and Eureka light farm is now near impossible

The main mass of WOW players already joined during HW, at the start of SB and during the "Ultimate" raid tier..., there are not so many Mmo players still out there willing to pay a sub for a Mmo..

sure, at the start of ShB expansion, there will be rush of players, but the sustained number of growth might not ne what SE us expecting, after the growth FFXIV got after HW and SB...

if the growth isn't what SE hope for, really hope they find a way to bring the players back again!

(and since the split the servers, expect more housing for all servers!)
