I'm am very grateful that Yoshi P and his team are willing to look into unlocking the race! I think it would actually be a pretty good business venture for them and it would make the players (current and future) who want to play as the viera very happy. THank you Yoshi P!

No not really. They decided to do the Hrothgar before the female Viera and even the models we have seen were just finished. So while it could've been possible that someone did a prototype male model at some point. The Viera were an afterthought and we only got the female one because we wanted them so much. That's why we have this, not fully pleasing anyone, compromise now.

The models sure dont look like it.

If they released male Viera it would've drawn the same criticism, only of a different flavor (aesthetics).

I stand by my statement, if they just called Hrothgar male-Viera instead the community would've been none the wiser. But making a controversy out of nothing is what the internet does best.

I disagree I believe most folks have a general idea on how male viera would look the concept art is pretty popular as what they should look like.

I think people are being very selfish and thinking their own society and culture is the only one that exists. Not everywhere in the world has the same social views as America and Europe and that's okay. Just like people don't want people to be opposing their views and reasons, why is it okay for those very same people to be so rude to others with differing opinions? In a culture where that particular way of thinking is the norm?

None of you would have been any happier honestly to have the bug "squashed". All the complaining would have just started sooner and they no doubt expected disrespect during the Paris announcement so they saved it for people who are less likely to be vocally rude.

True I still would of been disappointed however I wouldnt have had my Hope's crash from so high up. I generally dont post on the forums but this disappointment.. I just need to vent/ let the developers know I was really hype for this.
