Where is everybody getting the idea that Male viera would be "smol" or "scrawney"? I get the lore said they're difficult to tell apart when young but it seems the males lead much more "demanding" lifestyles. Wouldnt they look more like au ra in physique than something soft and small?

The HW concept art showed them being smaller, and in reality male rabbits are smaller than females.

Honestly unsure myself. Smaller than the females, perhaps - not by a large margin. But scrawny, no. The concept of art had them anything but scrawny. When a male Viera lowers his arms - I yell timber. That's how 'thick' those arms were in the concept art. I'm assuming folks are looking into the tiny like image which had both the female and male look like they'd be under 4ft - or that concept art was possibly that of the 'children' and them showing how there's little difference between the two until they hit puberty.

Those who are thinking they would be small and scrawny are those who are wanting a child-sized/slender male Viera. Others are wanting an average height, slender yet toned male Viera - that fits with their lore more in my opinion. Aye, I want the toned and elegant/beautiful type for my bunnyman rather than small and cute.

Do you mean the tall, tough male or the tiny, dainty female Au Ra? Who both supposedly have the same tough lifestyle.

Its Also an interesting racial dynamic that is missing from a lot of MMOs and games in general. They do need need to be super tiny, Just giving them half a foot would be well enough.

They would be like the opposite of au ra. With females being taller than males and males being muscular but slim, not as bulky as male au ra or the other male races outside of Hyur.

The concept art shows it all.

Depending on the artwork you can find in the male Viera support thread, actually male viera do seem smaller than the female Viera in her idle pose. The male version seems shorter when standing straight up, but thats just an assumption.
Else its nowhere stated and its also the reason why we want to see SE's official Male Viera version!

Combination of the smol viera FATE art, and the hope for something opposite to the Au Ra.

There's also a lot of people who want "Feminine" but not necissarily smol Viera which adds to the discussion.

Personally I'd like the same treatment the Miqote got rather than the two genders being essentially two seperate races like the Au Ra.

I ultimately would like viera to have the same type of physique as Male au ra while being a bit shorter. I quite like Male au ras non existent waistline.

I think it's because we had such a difference with female and male Au Ra. It would just be nice to see that work in the opposite direction.

That said, there was also some killer art that had them basically looking like longer eared Miqo'te. Not bad, but not very unique to the game.
