Why is Paladin screwed in Eureka Pyros compared to other classes with light?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have been told Paladin has to roll 5 times on the sword AND shield, each, when light farming.

In past relics you would have to upgrade the sword and shield together, but would cost the exact same as all other classes. I.E. sword could only have X materia, and shield could only have Y materia back in the 2.X relic.

But you have to roll 5 stats EACH.

And again, tell me if I'm wrong, but I've had multiple people in game tell me this is what Pld relics have to deal with, and I really bloody hate it.

With paladin it costs only 1 crystal to roll on a sword or shield. While every other job it costs 2 crystals for 1 roll.
