Dancer Gear

Good thing I bought that Shire Aiming gear after my first post.

Bard/Machinist Gear looks nothing like that of what a Dancer should, lol.
Most of us would anyhow but glam will be a must i suppose

With what lol...I was praying sharing with nin as nin has a lot of pieces you can make a dancer set out of. With aiming the stuff that looks dancer-y dyes horribly. Guess were all stuck with the tharvian bustier...I was trying to prep glams that would look unique...Astro artifact gear has perfect pants for dancer.... aiming...just...nope the chimerical tabard looks dancer-y but dyes horribly. I'm just hopinf they release Lyse's battle dress as a dyeable item on the mog station so i can have something that looks nice on my Viera....

Really i think new jobs that come out should have their own gear.
I know why they do it the way they do and most agree and while my inventory is always full i would not mind if Dancer had it's own gear

Theres still not a great number of options that work well or give a dancer feel... I just pray they release lots of dancer theme'd items with expansion. and that suit tall characters too! Alot of crafted gear only look good on small characters like Aura and kitties.

I think they'll at least give dancer some starting gear that fits like RDM and SAM got.

Hpefully they'll also make some sets in ShB too. Like if the first cheap set of tome gear is dancer themed etc.

Someone had made this point (I think on reddit), but when MCH was introduced, a lot of the shared Aiming gear took on a more western/gunslinger style to fit the new job. So if they followed that pattern, with DNC being the new job, perhaps the shared Aiming gear will be taking on a style more fitting for DNC (and the other two will just have to suffer..).

Obviously we have no idea, but that was an interesting thought.

As a bard this is what I'm hoping for, honestly. Bards are supposed to dress more flamboyantly in the first place, and with mchs dragging us into the Cowboy Zone, a lot of our gear's turned into a more military aesthetic that really goes in the opposite direction. So bringing dancer into the fold may hopefully bring bards closer to where they should be glamour-wise.

Not to mention, hey it makes things easier for me to gear if I only need one set between brd/dnc.

Just a thought... there was talk a while back (I don't know how reliable it is) that gearsets might be getting condensed? And Scouting getting absorbed back into Aiming?

If that's accurate then potentially dancer could use Scouting gear up to 70 (assuming they wouldn't change the old gear), and Aiming after that.
