For those unsubbing

Probably not, but welcome to the forums, where people complain, and complain about complaining, etc... Also it's apparently mind blowing for people to see that others have different opinions and different measures of how to have fun apparently (not directed at you).

If people want to stay (just as I'm staying) or unsub (how others are unsubbing), whatever floats their boat. I'm not going to care why people will stay subbed, leave, or how they spend their time in this game. If someone isn't having fun anymore, it's no skin off my back that they're doing what makes them happy (as they should). If they want to leave feedback in a constructive manner, they're free to do that as well.

I will give it that some people are being rather unreasonable in their degree of showing how discontent they are (what with personal attacks and the like).

You let me down man, I thought we were gonna have a complaintathon. So many stages of complaints about complaints that we'd hit breaking points and cause another calamity.

I do agree in essense though- sucks that folk go without what they like, and I hope the other sex variants of the new races get added down the line, despite my lack of interest in playing them.

Its called counterbalance and fun. As usual a vocal minority that are spoiled by getting their way on twitter need to be counterbalanced while the rest of the community likes to see that everyone else disagrees with them. See? Useful and cathartic.

I don't think so. This thread brought a grin to my face. The players threatening to quit have simply made me roll my eyes and wish they'd just go rather than ruin the atmosphere for those of us who are excited about the expansion.

Why would you even make this thread? There's no point in further antagonizing those who already are upset about what happened. I will admit that some threads/posts got out of hand, but telling people things like "Yeah yeah, just unsub, you'll be back, lol" or "Unsub, we'll be better off without" is absurd. I don't really consider myself to be on either side of the debate, as I'm cool with what happened but wouldn't be against adding the opposite genders to the new races, but telling people "Go away" from an MMO we all play like that just makes me irate.

WoW used to have 12 mil subs back in WotLK days, the last update Bliz gave before they stopped reporting was a little over 5 mil. All those players that were told "cya tomorrow, you'll be back" sure did come back, didn't they? Telling people to go away helps no one. I don't know about you guys, but I enjoy FFXIV and I don't want FFXIV to have it's WoD/BFA expansion where the game starts sucking and the playerbase is so small compared to what it used to be. More people continuing to play helps everyone that is currently playing.

Sorry but i dont remember seeing 7 mil threads about people quitting WoW and I'm sure there were less than 1000 who were told that.
Also WoW was about bad decisions making the game not fun for people they didn't leave because they didn't get a healer since MoP.
