Nah mate, I'd take those articles with a heavy pinch of salt.

They are all noticeably short, are not in-depth, do not actively disclose their sources and are mainly contributors with an agenda. Reminds me of the bad writers at IGN, N4g.com, and Game Informer, all three of which publish biased crap and are just extremely below par to begin with.

For starters, Famitsu, Nicoinico, Kotaku, Dualshockers and Polygon are just a very few off the top of my head that are much more accurate with their disclosure of establishing the pulse of MMO players. Also remember that there are Chinesegaming websites as well that give their own reviews.
