Well, its (in part) why we're staying away from there but my point was it won't be empty. Thats 18 LSes. Why even have this thread in the first place.

Ragnarok is not a EU serveur >< it s for everyone.

1- Only ragnarok is open so all new player will come on this serveur in first.

2- then all other server r full but there r lot of inactive character, on ragnarok all players play often

I think your mistaking this server merge, The servers ain't technically full, they're just at the amount of players in which SE wants them. After the merger ppl will be able to create a new character on any server they want, none of them would be full from the current population of this game. Although you would be correct to assume that there would be no inactive players on Ragnarok as ppl have to specifically choose to go there to be on that server. But Ragnarok will most probably have the least amount of players out of all the servers due to it being a brand new server.

I also agree with Yowyow's view, If they never marked it as a RP server at the start or a EU server now and just left it as a 'New' server then the name alone and the chance to be on a fresh server with no rmt or inflated prices would have certainly pulled in quite a few ppl. I personally love the name Excalibur, But i just really love the tale behind the sword..

There was NO way for SE to keep everyone happy. However, I really wish they would have considered making and 'application' for everyone wishing to transfer servers. That way even if the servers were 'full' they could see the applications people sent in and manually exchange people across the servers.

The problem with the current system is they kept the numbers so low in order to keep the populations even that they don't even allow for the people who want to leave server A to go to server B room to move so that spots open up on server A so people from maybe server C who wanted to be on it can have them. An application system would allow them to do such transfers. Heck, they could even make a judgement call in some cases: 'Well Ridill is technically full but this ls of 10 would like on it...what's 10 more, lets move them in.'

Also, SE really should have had THREE different basic timezone transfer periods and not just 1. Have a low cap for the First round of folks who could login and switch for Japanese based hours, then put a hold on it until EU primetime and do the same thing. And finally open a 3rd round for the NA playerbase. After that, maybe freeze everything for a day and re-open for the final server caps on EU primetime (esp. since supposedly it's the EU base they are trying most to cater to with the merge). But alas, they didn't have such foresight.

Another thing they could have done is ONLY allowed transfers to Ragnarok first. Now I think people don't want to transfer there because it's never full and they are worried no one will be there to play with. If Ragnarok opened first, it would have freed up more space on ALL the servers and maybe even filled up more/quicker itself.
