The new content doesn't look bad, but...

I'll make this very brief!

I didn't like Stormblood because almost all the Ala Mhigo content got eaten up in favor of Far Eastern themed furnishing/culture/even Tales from the Storm.

The new story makes me glad because we will be focusing on shard jumping. Rather than attempting to make it about two new areas, we may wind up with focus on the First and existing areas we know about - perhaps some new Source areas toward the end, from my pure speculation.

I'm also glad about dancer being a ranged DPS, because I knew if it came out, I'd be making it a secondary class for my main character. However, healing scares me, so this was a nice surprise.

I'm tired of people getting worked up about Viera and Hrothgar. I do not like what seems to be a third "animal waifu" race in my eyes, and think Hrothgar is ugly, so I never planned to play as either, and that won't change. If I had my way, I'd delete them both, but they're here, so I'll just grumble while the Saltery increases in its salt supply.

I understand why people are upset. For some, this may be a make-or-break issue for them. If so, show SE by simply unsubscribing! They'll notice and decide whether this is a good thing to change. Maybe it'll change, maybe not.

That said, for those who will stick around, please continue to post these complaints. I think it's good that people are voicing different perspectives from the NA audience. It shows just how varied opinions are, and I don't think they need to be shot down from either side.
