I admit, part of me is thinking, what if they make femroth so good looking that the males feel a bit left behind? I certainly hope that isn't the case, but I can't help but feel that way a bit.

Well just have to wait and see.

While I'd love for them to be one of the top, most beautiful Females(for what they are. Not necessarily popular)

We will always have the whole, do they work as a pair, above us.

Won't be long now, just time to enjoy what we have left of the holidays, and then Deal with the hands(Mechanical Arms?!) dealt to us.

Though never been to a FFest. The JP one just happens to Line up neatly after this break of the holidays. FFest Attendees get to have some space after these days to then go see the final large pieces come into place.

We probably gonna see Femhroth with the new texture patches in the reveal trailer, which already is going to make them look better. I'm excited to see how they look!


My most unrealistic wish is that both get an on/off toggle for hunch/ non hunch. I expect females not having the hunch back which makes them already 1000x more appealing to me.

Anyways I'm excited to see them, and I'm so glad that genderlocked races are no more thing soon!

Honestly that bar isn't exactly hard to reach.

I like the males fine, but they could certainly be way better, namely the hunch, which I have a suspicion will be absent on the Females, making them way more attractive in general.

We will see shortly hopefully. Im very exicted, but equally nervous at the same time

I hope the "first" in "The First Graphical Update" is meant to suggest potential updates in the future.
Where they'll update and make things as they should in the future.

Sorry a bit late to the responses to this topic but I would say that the picture doesn't prove that the Gleaner Guild Master can't be a Hrothgal since if she is trying to keep a low profile she could have a male escort/guard that acts as a proxy or at least a stand in so that she isn't found which I mean would be a good way to stay hidden to some extent.

Thinking about it, Garlemald military brass would have to weigh the risk of spending resources on a possible wild goose chase on the off chance that a rumor is true and a Hrothgal is alive and out in the world somewhere in a hard to track down location to stop a possible potential political figure head to arise.

Then I think it's irresponsible of the in-story author of the book to include a picture of someone not confirmed to be Vtorak, and out-of-story is destined to be annoyingly outdated as a reference material for the rest of the game's life, just to throw a little misdirection in there now.

As I said, if there's no confirmed image available, leave it blank or make it an approximate sketch or something, not a standard portrait.

As for "Garleans hunting down female Hrothgar", that has never been a thing.

The book paints it as Nevembya Votyasch transformed into a Hrothgarified version of her former self, something close to how Ysale, when turned into Shiva, gained a more Draconic appearance. So, not an actual female Hrothgar.

The book also tries to spin it as highly resembling the primal summoned by Misija, despite the obvious differences.

But mostly I'm quoting this for your remark on Shiva, who I have never thought looked remotely draconic and I have never seen anyone else claim so either. The only official remark on Shiva's influences that I recall (probably from a previous lorebook) was along the lines of Ysayle being influenced by the idea of Halone as the reason for Shiva's ice aspect.

The reason for that might be because we did not have a concrete image of how a female Hrothgar would look in the game, so they just gave a Female Roe a slightly different body and Suncat eyes, but then again they didn't give her ears. But the quote is there, it is said it is supposed to represent Nevembya. So I would chuck that to lack of foresight, especially in a time where they didn't even begin to think of Female Hrothgar, since it wasn't yet a thing on the table. So the Queen's appearance might have been more thrown together for a lack of time. Since, if I remember correctly Matsuno had to leave the project and they had to abruptly end the storyline, that is also why it kind of ends on a cliffhanger and it leaves you with an empty feeling.

And as for Ysale, I came up with the comparisons, due to her Horns being more Dragon-y in nature and her cape kind of reminds me of dragon wings and tail. I wanted to draw a comparison between how Ysale was still looking like an Elezen even after her transformation into an Eikon with some more dragon-like things added, just how with Nevembya the only things that change are her skin colour (looking more purple-ish, at least to me), her eyes and her body being a modified Fem Roe body.
Sorry if I made it look like I was getting this from a different source. The only thing that is certain are the images from the book. And well, I guess we will have to wait for Volume IV to get more info on Female Hrothgar.

Although I've gotten used to seeing this ingame, can only imagine how elegant malehroth would look without hunch. Just the slippery ice for SE always happens at the time of release, some people like it, some don't, and changing that also means raising a wave of noise, ah...

True! I also have a wish that all glamours will no longer be genderlocked. After all, I've paid for a lot of interesting sets, and not being able to use them anymore seems quite disappointing.

NOOO please don't cry!!! It is understandable how excited you are because I have seen your enthusiasm since joined the forum myself. But I am ABSOLUTELY confident that we won't have to wait any longer! And that we will get exactly what we hope for. Believe this has always been a priority. Our next fanfest will be a good time that everyone deserves!
