It's quite unfortunate that without the datamined images and textures, you wouldn't even know that it is a Female Hrothgar. I mainly blame this on the lack of a tail being shown. Male Hrothgar also don't have claws unless they wear the default gear, which to this day I think is a big L.
From the beginning, I hoped no hunch for females, since we don't need that niche on a race that is already a niche, I also think that the hunch can ruin a lot of glams. I am also a big advocate for the males to have their posture toggle between the hunched and a non-hunched version. The height would be amazing if the females were equal in height when the males are hunched, but the males would be taller when they straighten their backs, as you said it would be a fun twist! Kind of a cute scenario when he hunches to look you in the eyes and make sure you are listened to, but when someone else approaches he becomes -BEEG-
Regardless, there is only a week left until Fan Fest. I have no high hopes they will show them no, better to hope for JP. Still, I would love to see it now just to know how their model looks fully.

I forgot about that. Feet look so low poly that I don't notice lolIt's quite unfortunate that without the datamined images and textures, you wouldn't even know that it is a Female Hrothgar. At least this should confirm, if claw feet are only shown on starting gear, that this gear is NOT the race gear. Because a race gear for a beast race, like with male hroths, should show some clawed beans
Male Hroth starter boots don't have claws either though, only the gloves. Maybe whatever she's wearing is either a unique outfit, or New World leveling/dungeon gear.
PS: maybe a pipe dream, but they really should at the very least give Hroths claws with the graphic revamp, though I don't see them wanting to remodel every piece of gear that exposes fingers or toes /sigh

I don't think they would need to do that. They could just alter the default texture for the nails to be always black when wearing gloves, then show the claws when wearing things like bracelets or nothing. You could make the argument that the kitty claws get retracted in gloves as to not slash through them. So realistically, it would just be the hand model that they use to add bracelets that would need modification. Cause when you equip an item, like pants, you don't just put on a pair of pants, you equip a whole new set of legs. So it could be made with relatively minor tweaks.
I have a bottle of fantasia from the 2014 heavensward 2 week trial that has been collecting dust for nearly 10 years.
I hope it hasn't expired.
Personally I'm hoping they look way more beast like then female Miqo'te but not as much as the male counterpart.
I think the "save the queen" (I think that's what it was) image is a good example of what i'd find ideal
Eitherway excited and will be interested.
That looks flippin disgusting. Seeing furry races with human toes rather than claws looks so awkward and awful.Male Hroth starter boots don't have claws either though, only the gloves. Maybe whatever she's wearing is either a unique outfit, or New World leveling/dungeon gear.

Wish theyd just copied the actual Ronso race from FFX like how they did with the Viera from FFXII. They look infinitely much cooler and better
XIV Viera don't have the elongated fingers and claws or the... "unique" feet they have in XII either, so they are equal in that sense.
