Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

There's absolutely a stronger case for female Hrothgar than there is for male Viera and I really hope the dev team look into fixing this as soon as possible.

But knowing them they'll probably give us males as being full lion headed beasts and the females will be Femroes with Miqo'te ears and nothing else.

Support, while I wouldn't play as one I can see that there is a demand and they have at least been seen. There seems to be nothing 'lore wise' so far holding back female Hrothgar. Sadly, it seems that female Hrothgar was simply not added in order to keep balance and fairness. As well as with the other issues that most likely exist but weren't explained. Time constraints, resources, etc.

Hopefully, they can be added in at a reasonable time. While I can't see them being released in 5.0 - there is hope that perhaps the gender lock will be revoked onwards. I hope you will not have to wait until 6.0. And if not, that the reasoning for this goes beyond an excuse that is flimsy at best.

God, yes please. I would adore female Hrothgar so much!! genderlocking's boring and I would love to have a another buff girl alt. I voiced this in the other thread but the fact is, people want more choices, not less, and genderlocks restrict choices. it's an mmo, choices define the whole experience, what class you play/main, how you design your character, where you start... it just doesn't make sense to restrict this permanently. I could live with waiting longer for the genderlock to be lifted, as long as we know it's getting lifted at some point, you know?

+ 1 for female hrothgar! With how the dev team got rid of the gender lock on Roegadyn and Miqo'te when 2.0 hit, the idea to gender lock a race now baffles me. Since the name for the hrothgar in the other shard is literally ronso, it seems silly not to have female hrothgar when there were plenty of female ronso in X. There are so many cool roegadyn females designs, I would love to see what the playerbase can do with hrothgar female designs.

We know the male viera exist in the world by the lore given on the Prima Vista. TLDR, they're off on their own and rarely come down to -visit- the viera villages. It's a pretty weak reason for not including them. The same type of lore could have easily been used on Miqote, but here we are.

That said, I'm all kinds of curious as to how they will explain away no female hrothgarfields. I think that lazy writing of "they are off on their own, doing their thing and hidden" bothers me more than the excuse of "refitting all the gear to fit a new skeleton is hard."
