Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

So I took a look at the Female Hyur "Highlander" (Thighlander people love to dub it) and..Im not really impressed.
I dont think they look that attractive. And sure, they are bigger then their Midlander counterparts, but they still dont quite fit the Strong Female look that I seek. If they had just a little more bulk and could get abit taller id probly like them more.

Ill give them one thing, I like half of their emotes more. They have a cute and girly expression to them that other female models lack. And some of their emotes animate very well.

Its not a bad looking race option, its just not what Im looking for in a strong female character that the Roes fit perfectly.

I am not putting down femroe. I stated they look like men, are closer to males, you can take that as a put down or a compliment. It's stating a fact. That's it.

When au ra is mentioned in direct reply to me (as in quoting), and I haven't brought up au ra, yeah.. I am pretty sure it's in reference to me, frankly. Like.. really?

Because I Cannot say YOU want something, or state that YOU want something, without me being reported and banned for "slander"! That's why. "You" in general, not you specifically (I don't think I would be reported by you), nor am I stating you would do it) I post in general or talk around things for a reason. For that matter, multiple people do seem to want a bodytype like that. "Crushed". So, I think it's fairly safe to assume that "people" do want something like that. I meant to be speaking in general.

As I have said before, this thread is casual conversation to me. I have no real interest in actually playing female hrothgar, I have preferences, but if they decided to make a she-hulk hrothgar, it wouldn't effect me. I would just think it was a shame. Yeah, we are good, I don't care that much about this. This is killing time for me.

Yeah... I can understand the intent in making them seem more 'beastly', but the hrothgar straighten up for a lot of shared emotes and animations anyway. It seems like a bit of needless extra work to adjust for the hunch.

That and personally I like the hunch in regards to lore ideas and battle stances. Warrior Hrothgars are simply amazing especially with the hunch easily carrying over to the WAR battle stance when drawing the weapon plus axes are more closer to their backs compared to the rest of the jobs which is IMO the only issue with the hunch. When running, looks like I'm dashing to punt the nearest fast food joint and raid the fry stand.

No, fem Au Ra are specifically "petite" with "skinny" not mutually exclusive to them. And to most fans/players, FFXIV is an "anime" video game. Ignoring the fact that the series was inspired by west plus east fantasy and storytelling the females are default in CC skinny/moe anime girls minus Elezen, Femroe, Highlander and loosely Viera(some faces look younger).

Seemingly the references to female au ra, have been since I've been posting, and to me, they are jabs at my player avatar. Just like when I've been a female miqo'te in the past, because apparently, I cannot have diverse opinions, if I am playing either race.

Unless you mean since playing day 1. Then they've been already mentioned before especially to plead for no extreme dimorphism. You are allowed to have "diverse" opinions. However, you dismissing the positive discussion instead for Highlander 2.0 is not so unique and to me seems arguing in bad faith when claiming apathy yet including passionate complaints about femininity or masculinity in regards to someone's height/shape and being/looks that you perceive to see of a certain sex and stating as if 'calling it like I seez it.'

Because I have LITERALLY been banned before for "slander". It was the last time I stated someone liked, or wanted something, never again. I don't even use light "bad words", I am obsessive and paranoid about moderation on these forums, and this game in general. What you read of me here on these forums is not me actually speaking my mind.

Might be, but last night this was the only thread popping at 3 am or whatever, so why not post here? This is just continued from that conversation. If they did release femhroth looking like roe, almost nobody would play them, so I'd barely see them anyway. So meh, just a shame for what could have been; More diversity in player races. The wasted resources on a race/gender nobody plays would be a shame as well.

I brought up au ra in one post - complimenting another person's prior choices. I am talking about female roe in the female hrothgar thread, because female roe was used as a comparative basis in SE's own artwork. Not only that the Queen of Bozja - who is a roe - replaced a female hrothgar. So, there is actually a relevance in discussing ROE, there is no relevance in discussing au ra in this thread. Since that artwork also depicted female hrothgar being at comparable height to roe, with probably feline features. So, neither miqo'te 2.0, or au ra are applicable, in my opinion.

I am not "putting down" roe* either. I am saying how it is. Simple as that. Some people like that aesthetic, I get that, but as I have said numerous times, I don't think it should be used as a basis for female hrothgar. I have said for years, that I have wanted female hrothgar to be like male hrothgar, a beast race. Fierce, tough, athletic, proud. Closer to female highlander, and similar height as viera. Not hunched.

I feel like there's some complex layers of stuff going on within the topic of Female Hrothgar. Like, I'm all for people wanting what they want and liking what they like, and I did come across that well rendered Korean art when search for Female Hrothgar art recently, but I didn't post it because it just straight up looks like the dudes with slightly better proportions. Doesn't look like the art depiction we're given at all and def not something I think many would want to play as it looks more masculine presenting than Femroe.

There's nothing wrong with a woman having a masculine frame ... but you don't have to strip away or ignore feminine features to make a female look strong and athletic, we already have a masculine female option and everyone here knows that a furry female that's as masculine as Femroe (Who clearly aren't played because they look masculine) would have damn near nonexistent player base ... so yeah. There's clearly a subset of people here who are attracted to masculine women/unconventional traits and that's fine, but there's no reason they "should" look like that so ehhh ... it's just a debate for what some people find attractive that most wouldn't.
