Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

I think what they mean is they want female Hrothgar to be as masculine as femRoe's (strong woman, etc). Not 1:1 in body and stance and such.

Like I personally want the females to be given the same treatment as males. Strong, hunched and still bestial in appearance (beast head like the males. GW2 Charr for example).

I'd really prefer to refer to femroes as "handsome" rather than "masculine" :x
They've all got some strong features, but they're still very feminine in my opinion.

To male Roegadyn, female Roegadyn are very feminine. Calling femroe "masculine" is way out of line.
It's like me calling male hyur feminine just because they're not as strong looking as male Roegadyn.

PS. Femroe have more curves than any females in the game.

Ehh, I will never understand the desire to have another masculine female like the Femroe. I've played Femroe for years, I don't want a 2nd femroe ... IF they make them tall I want something better and more appealing much like how Hrothgar are a better looking, more appealing option. Like how Viera male fans don't want a Elezen bod and how the Draggos aren't stepping on any other race's toes with their body shapes even thought they're completely different between genders. And besides, the Hrothgar are more so defined by their animal/ beast features than being "the biggest and swollest" so no real need for the women to be Femroe shaped or jacked over something else more feminine.

As for "same treatment as males" that's gonna be a hard pass on the hunch. If they were like the Charr then sure, I'd love it. Got a female Charr myself ... but that's not how Hrothgar are. Hrothgar look far more human shaped than the more-beast-than-MAN Charr. So I assume the females, unlike the Charr, are gonna have 2 human breast ... which would look terribad with a default hunch like the Males. I could see them hunching for some emotes or animations but as default? Nah.

Looking at the size chart for females and the Ronso character sheet makes me think they might just make them between Thighlander and middie seeing as that's the last BIG gap in that height range that would be "taller" than middie but shorter than the males. Hoping for thighlander to Viera at least though or Viera to Elezen.

There's a world of room between "Miqo'te/Au Ra 2.0" and "Femroe 2.0".

Part of what got me to try Highlander out is that they have a general body shape that would closer match the female version of what Hrothgar have going on (Triangle shape vs hour glass shape. still got muscles for days but curves to match) as well as the "Not taller than the males but still tall" thing going for them ontop of a very powerful and aggressive/ expressive emote list of animations. People kinda been sleeping on them cause "humans are boring".

So yeah, I think they would prob look like animal headed thighlanders for the most part.

If we're actually theorizing what they would like from context clues that's an interesting angle. Ronso females come up to about the chest level of male Ronso which also makes me think they would be around thighlander tall or even shorter. But they run on a matriarchy, so maybe the few women in their community have control cause they're taller and stronger than any male with comparable Femroe height. But that's kinda a primal way to look at things, they could have a matriarchy that works with such few females because the males are used as the muscle and the females as the more fragile brains that need protecting (If women run things and are such a small number in the population it would make sense for the more expendable males to be larger and on the front lines). Emote wise they could be anything from dignified heads to goonish gang leaders given their control over hrothgar communities.

Or maybe if they ever show up in game the devs will do something unexpected like giving them thighland hips/ thighs but making them completely flat chested (as in zero boobs, like lalas) to push the beast side as animals don't normally have breast like humans without recently giving birth. That way, even if they're not huge or w/e and land somewhere between middie and thighlander, they would still look look very different from Miqo'te. Lack of breast slider could open up room for something else, like maybe a mane length option for a lil extra control in the EFFED UP Hrothgar mane situation.

Female Ronso/Hrothgar are already shown in the x games. There is no point in genderlocking them.

The reason I made this thread is to ask for those that believe in female Ronso/Hrothgar as a playable race. I believe that both gender locks should equally be removed.

Can we just get functional headgear first before we burden the modeling team with an entirely different rigging job

Female Hrothgar may just be a race I try out. I've a fondness for cats, after all. So I may be a bit bias.

They have Humanoid faces. The Females should have full on cat face muzzles like the males
