To be fair, it's really hard to hear anything with the audio problems atm.

It just felt super weird because they brushed past it with no acknowledgement or apology, like you would expect. That's how they've often handled bad news in the past.

You're right, they didn't. It was ASSUMED that after 4 years we were due something new. So the next time we MIGHT get a chance it will officially be 6 years. 6 YEARS since the last healer job. Ridiculous, there are no words.

They're a Japanese company. They've historically apologized for any disappointment they've caused fans.I don't care whether they do this as a general policy, my point is that they brushed past the issue without addressing it much. Everyone was expecting one tank, one healer.

Yay I get to look forward to another random grab bag of abilities mindlessly sprinkled across my 3 jobs along with the fear of a sprinkling of comical QoL and ability regressions for the expac by some designer who's clearly never played a healer for any serious amount of time.

I'd just like a little more explanation from SE on why a segment of the game's players aren't getting a new class for so long.

Everyone was expecting one tank, one healer.

I was hoping for more DPS, tbh. I main tank and would like an interesting DPS to try. I don't really need a new tank because I like PLD and have since the start. Unless the classes screamed tank and healer, I didn't want them.
