Actually Excited For Some Of the New Stuff In ShadowBringers

As the salt mines still continue to profit from last night's declarations and the OF is in full-blown neurotic mode, honestly, I would like to make a topic and take some time to discuss what people are happy and excited for in regards towards the next expansion.

Personally, I really find the new dancer job to be alluring in trying. I haven't left black mage as my main class for almost five years, going into six maybe? I'm really excited to try playing a different DPS class that's ranged. I've played BRD, but sometimes it's procs are too much for me to handle in order to play the job optimally, and because I can't play it optimally enough...I won't take the job into content that could burden other players.

I also liked the idea it uses chakrams as one of the main weapons. I always thought that chakrams were an interesting weapon concept since they're basically akin towards a "war Frisbee", even if I can't throw a Frisbee straight to save my life.

Blue Mage was a bit of a let down for me as I had no interest in playing a limited job that I couldn't take into the content that I had fun with personally.

I may try Viera, I'm not 100% a full blown fan of the race, but, I've had my free fantasia lying around since 2014, I may try them for a little while. Who knows, maybe I'll try playing around with the other race in the character creator for shits and giggles and make another male alt.

If you're unhappy with the current direction of the game, that's fine, but obviously this thread isn't for you and there's probably like....20 other topics you can fuel your rage in at the moment, so let's keep this civil guys, please.

I'm liking the announcements so far. I'm not a fan of healing, at all, so I'm personally pretty glad that DNC is a ranged physical.. We do deserve another healer, but we also do deserve another physical ranged, so it's a good thing I think, I don't like how it's just BRD, or MCH.

I'll probably go Viera on one of my characters, I've got a few to spare so it'll be a nice change seeing a different race per each.

Amongst the chaos, it's nice to see some people that still found the announcements pretty good. I'm dead excited for the many AFK hours I'll have in the Crystarium, if not Foundation.. Hopefully the rebuild will give life to that place

Tbh I was predicting another shard, or rather it was the closest anticipation I had.. Whilst they've really set the stone for dealing with Garlemald.. I still found it way, way too soon considering the Ascian involvement and the calling

Disregarding all the controversial stuff i'm looking forward to the main story and adventure. I'm wondering since the 1st shard if a sort of alternate mirror of our world if that includes people too. Like are we going to see the 1st's Haurchefant? Would be an interesting turn of events.

I really like that area as well! Kinda feels new and nostalgic at the same time.
