I am extremely unhappy about there being no new playable option for healer, since I have to play it a lot but I don't really like the current options.

For Viera/Hrothgar, I wish that there were male/female variants, but I understand why they went this direction. People really wanted viera, but people also really wanted a monster race. A second gender on a race is effectively a new race in itself, since they have some different animations and different cosmetic appearances to worry about. Look how different male and female Au Ra and Highlanders are, for example. If they only have enough resources to give us two new playable looks, this is probably the lesser evil between "no viera" or "no monster race"

I'm ok with dancer being a DPS, but since I only get to play DPS as an alt when my friends are playing, and I was already very happy with Red Mage, I can't say I'm super thrilled. I'll try it, I might like it, but it can't be anything more than an alt for me.

I'm completly fine with the genderlocked races because there doesn't always have to be to genders of something in a FANTASY GAME. It is completly fine in other games and only this com here makes a drama out of it.

Dancer as a ranged dps is a thing that i can't really understand because first of all i would imagine that a dancer is not a ranged class but more important is that we should get another healer instead of another dps class. Its not that i'm upset about it its more that i don't really understand this decision.

1) That's not blackmail.

2) That's literally the most powerful way you have of expressing your opinion as a consumer.

3) SE still don't have to care. Oh, they lose a handful of subs out of the thousands that are going to continue playing, paying sub fees, paying retainer fees, purchasing mogstation items... However will they cope? /s

4) It's 99.99% of the time hyperbole and people who say it won't actually unsub, they're just salty because they're disappointed in the news they got.

I'm excited about Shadowbringers. I'm very curious as to how the MSQ will unfold and exploring the First Shard.

I'm excited to try out Gunbreaker.

I'll play Dancer some, even if only to level to 80 and maybe work on the ShB Relic for eventually. I'm not particularly a big DPS fan.

Viera/Hrothgar... Aren't my cat gril waifu so it doesn't actually impact me, I don't have any plans to change my race or make an alt. The only way it would impact me is if we got a new free retainer slot as I'd have more options for the race to choose for it (Currently I have a Fem Au Ra and Fem Roe)

But at the same time, there have been some disappointing decisions. Though, this hasn't only been in Shadowbringers reveals (I.e. Genderlocked races and DPS Dancer).

Healers are getting shafted. I can only hope the rework that WHM is getting is enough to make it feel like a new job.

BLU is a half finished job.

Viera and Hrothgar are half finished races.

Eureka felt like half finished content on release.

Of course, the rest of the game has been fun and I'll continue to enjoy it. It's just that this trend is worrying. That they're starting to ship out half-finished content. That they seem to be putting a lot of emphasis on the most played role in the game instead of doing anything about one of the 2 underpopulated roles (More than 50% of jobs introduced since ARR have been DPS with Dancer making that 4 out of the 7 total jobs (Not accounting for BLU which would technically make it 5/8). Oh well, I guess I'll just be glad that Gunbreaker was a Tank and not another DPS.

most content is released and a half finished state. Thats the style of ffxiv, and most service based mmos. They started with 1.0 which morphed into 2.0, they added and developed the main story over time. They tweaked and changed jobs. They add raids one at a time. The relic was always released in pieces. They alter jobs with every expansion.

I'm okay with Dancer as DPS and going to try it.
I'm okay with how female Viera look.
I'm okay with how male Hrothgar look.
I'm excited about switching to Gunbreaker which I waited for 5 years and enjoying new MSQ and content.

I'm not okay with ignoring healers again while they deserve new and good job.
I'm not okay with genderlock while they said back awhile that they will not repeat this thing again. Though they are probably were out of recourses and male Viera and female Hrothgar will come later in new expansions but still.
They made a series of weird, bad decisions lately and they deserve the critique for this. Though I'm still supportive for them as well as I'm supportive for those who are disappointed about things.

The only thing that sticks in my craw is no new healer job. I don't really play Healer out of special requests, but DPS didn't really need a new job just yet. Hope they release a new Healer for you guys soon. Otherwise super hyped.
