Just an opinion on race choice.

I know it's getting to some people seeing posts about the genderlocking and the Hrothgar reveal; reactions of disgust or anger at the community. I just wanted to throw put my opinion in a small territory and I don't usually make opening posts or post in the forums often. I've seen it a fewp times even with just the Ronso roe'qotes, "Furry bait" or stuff like that. I just have to say my disappointment (genderlock aside) comes from the fact that this is the direction they went with. We had a cat like race to begin with, the mithra inspired miqo'te. I was looking forward to a beastial like race of sub humans.. but this wasn't what I wanted. There was hope in me before the reveal that they would use a different beastial animal, personally I'd have preferred them to just make Lupin playable. There are so many beasts in the animal kingdom you can adapt to a beastial race and they have with the beast tribes, but this feels like such a cop out, we had a cat race to begin with. Now, now we have roes with lion heads.. not even a nice in between hyur and roe body type like they would be I'm ff10, we got another furry cat. I love cats too. I roll a miqo'te, but seriously.. you could have done like a bear, a pangolin, or any other large apex preditor.. I know ronso was wanted.. but I don't know I'm just disappointed, it could have waited longer to be implemented and give look for more unique beast like subhumans. I'm personally butt hurt that they weren't wolfs or Lupin as a playable race, but that's an arguement I doubt I'd ever win, since it's biased and based on what I like. Anyways thank you for reading if you sat through lol.

Lore wise it would have made more sense to have Bangaa as a 2nd race. Dont we get Viera from an alliance with rabanastre?

Bangaa would have made sense and I would have been just fine with that being added as a playable race, since they are from Ivalice like Viera.
