GUESS WHO DIDN'T REALIZE THIS WAS AN OLD POST?! It's me... I didn't. T-T
I honestly didn't...
If you're rage quitting over pixels you might want to take a step back anyways and consider how egocentric and self indulgent you've become that a set of pixels that you wanted didnt happen so you an adult threw a temper tantrum and quit something you had four years invested into.
"Sometimes I wonder I heal for fun. or if I heal because I'm a glutton for punishment."
Being supportive to them means providing feedbacks, good and bad. They show the changes beforehand so they can collect opinions of their player base and prepare for possible adjustments. It'd be a hell to get all those feedbacks after the game launch and start working on them only then. That'd be the most stressful situation.
There is a difference between criticism and temper tantrums. The fellow I quoted was throwing a tantrum. I'm all for criticism, good and bad, but the knee jerk reaction they had is not the right one. Showing displeasure in a respectful manner will go much farther than blind rage.Being supportive to them means providing feedbacks, good and bad. Yeah i know very much the difference and agree, my post wasn't directed at you. I was just tired of the "don't talk before trying" some people come up with, thinking they're the one doing the right thing for the devs, while this kinda attitude isn't helping one bit. There is a difference between criticism and temper tantrums. You're pleased? Say it and explain why. You're alarmed? say it and explain why. That's the supportive AND helpful thing to do.
We're STILL crying about the lack of bunny bois?
I mean the devs brought this upon themselves haha. As a professional corporation they should have enough professionalism to understand their customers, the call for male Viera will not stop until they're added, so most likely 2 years of consistent requests. We only got 50% of Viera, we're patiently waiting for the rest.

It isn't valid reasoning to YOU and others ... it could be completely valid to THEM and others. Neither your opinion or their opinion out weighs another. Everyone will complain, and everyone has to right to. Gender barriers or not, the devs made a choice. Voice your opinion, let others voice theirs and stop bashing each other. Bashing someone for supporting the devs choice, is just as bad as the people bashing those that don't like the devs choices.Your valid reasons basically come down to:
- It doesn't follow the lore
- It makes me uncomfortable
- I don't like this type of character
- I support this kind of behavior from Square Enix.
This is not valid reasoning at all.
We have broken down the gender barriers in 2.0, and look how many people flocked to the game.
Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it should not be in the game.
I don't like the Yokai watch stuff, I never touched it.
It's as simple as that.
"If you walk through life thinking you are not needed, remember that there is always someone that is counting on you." -CP
I do get tired of supporting devs that ends up slapping me across the face sometimes to be honest...
But we can support them by giving both negative and positive feedback.
The male Viera thing is another slap because when you sit here and make
Male Miqote and Female Roe and give concept art for the Male Viera for this game and take a massive step back and limit
genders, then yeah, people have a right to be upset and voice their opinions.
They should have done either or, and not limit to one. I like both races and I get they tried to appease both sides
of the spectrum with more beastly looks and the most wanted Viera but this was not a good way to implement.
Doesn't help they said they dunno what they will do for the opposite genders right now since it's not in the near future.
