it isn't about what 'they' wanted to add. They held a vote, Viera won. They made Au Ra instead, and the consequence of not listening to the people who are literally paying for their shit, is that we pestered them. Perhaps if they had given the playerbase what they wanted to pay for to begin with would have meant they could have added Au Ra later without backlash for not adding Viera. Perhaps there'd be no backlash now, because they'd have implemented a full race instead of just half-assing two races with lame excuses as for why they're incomplete.

In the end this is a product and we are buyers. It's not about what they want, it's about what WE want.

You mean the poll that asked "a race LIKE Viera" and people took it and ran with "OMG THEY ASKED IF WE WANTED VIERA!" and pushed a completely incorrect notion that perpetuates even to this day.
