He made an odd hint towards gaia's hammer during the eden reveal and people are thinking geomancer so maybe we'll get that healer after all.

This community astounds me at times.

Well, when they were talking about the Minfilia Trust, they didn't mention her job. Either she is a Dancer (because they were talking about this before the Dancer announcement) or she is an unannounced healer job. Just a wild guess.
Four job sharing aiming accessories, three jobs sharing aiming gear now. Sure there are four jobs sharing fending gear in the xpac but there is always more dps than tanks in groups. I actually expected (after seeing the dancer in the trailer) that it was going to be a melee and share gear with ninja.

I wish there were enough healers to where we could split hairs over using different types of accessories.Four job sharing aiming accessories, three jobs sharing aiming gear now. If there are only two jobs, I can kinda understand their reasoning. Healers and Tanks are the hardest jobs to balance when introduced to existing ones. So it would kinda make sense to do a tank/dps set for this expansion, then healer/dps for next expansion (gives them more time to work out balance).
Sucks for people looking for a new healer though. Here's hoping there's a surprise announcement of healer based on the shirt Yoshida was wearing (Said "B yourself, B beautiful" and then had something about haircuts at the bottom).

expect healer + dps in 6.0

If there was a 4th fan festival, I would believe that, but I don't see why they'll do that kind of annoucement outside the keynote of a fan fest..

Then we have to wait six years for a healer. No. There is no excuse. If there are only two jobs, I can kinda understand their reasoning. Six years. SIX. without healer, I'm not OK with that. It's just stupid. Can you imagine 6 years without DPS for example? If they were to make only 2 jobs on this expansion, sacrifing DPS was the logical choice, since SB was all DPS (3 DPS Job).If there are only two jobs, I can kinda understand their reasoning.
