Well, when they were talking about the Minfilia Trust, they didn't mention her job. Either she is a Dancer (because they were talking about this before the Dancer announcement) or she is an unannounced healer job. Just a wild guess.

If there was a 4th fan festival, I would believe that, but I don't see why they'll do that kind of annoucement outside the keynote of a fan fest..

I'm not gonna lie: if there's no new healer I'm not going to unsub or do a healer strike to "stick it to the man" or something like that. But I am nonetheless extremely disappointed that there's no new healer. There will definitely be some new healer info at Fanfest since there will be a lot of media interviews, and I'm sure the question will be asked. But even if they do have new healer info, not putting any info in the opening keynote is just... baffling. Why kill the hype for those wanting a new healer? If the dps dancer reveal was delayed it would be a plus since no one was really expecting a new dps, but literally everyone was expecting new healer. Anyway I'm looking forward to ShB but my hype needs time to recover. Hopefully the new spells reveal in May will do something for WHM.

I don't think adding heals is so difficult that it's impossible.

Make Dancer a Healer. Im not kidding. Change it to a healer.

We do not need another DPS.

If there are only two jobs, I can kinda understand their reasoning. Healers and Tanks are the hardest jobs to balance when introduced to existing ones. So it would kinda make sense to do a tank/dps set for this expansion, then healer/dps for next expansion (gives them more time to work out balance).

Sucks for people looking for a new healer though. Here's hoping there's a surprise announcement of healer based on the shirt Yoshida was wearing (Said "B yourself, B beautiful" and then had something about haircuts at the bottom).

You may not like it, but it is a valid excuse. It's very hard to balance tanks and healers. So they could spend their time getting the balance right on ONE or the other, or they could try to split their concentration and do a shitty job on both. That is something SE have said themselves with SB came out.

Like I said though, I'm sympathetic. It sucks. That's why I'm hoping for a surprise announcement based on his shirt.
