here's how it is: to make male viera, fem Hroth, they'd need to rework each piece of equipment in the game, to fit their models, which you might have guessed correctly, would take HUGE amount of time and money.

Unfortunately the company brought this upon themselves, This could have been the Viera expansion with the next being Ronso. They instead decided to shoehorn this together by giving us one half of two races and now we're back to 1.0.

Which they don't want to do, cause lore-wise Viera is a female-only-warrior-society, like Amazones.

The company last left us with female and male art in 2015, before announcing Viera in 2018. SE has not said anything about "preserving the amazonian Viera" for three years before hitting us with a genderlock on both Viera and Ronso.

Also the devs don't sit around on forum, commenting on posts like you or I lol. so what do you expect? for Yoshi to post a letter, commenting about every decision he makes?
I'm sure they will get plenty of questions about it, during next live letter, and he might talk about it there.

Yes I believe some sort of video Live letter from Yoshi would be a fantastic time to let us know their plans!
