2) roe being least popular doesn't throw that away. Because

- There might just be a lot of women and LGBTQ folks who play ff14 and have no interest in playing roe

- The men playing this game might be satisfied enough by how muscular the humans are. Or might find roe visually unappealing for other reasons.

Just because the roe and the lion boys potentially not being successful doesn't mean that they do not fall into that category. Infact it makes me question why SE made this decision in the first place.

No one is claiming people have more right to anything. I'm arguing for inclusion would literally make everyone happy.

ff14 doesn't exist in a vaccume, every mmo has giant muscle orc men. Having one that had more less giant and manly and prittier dudes, is a novel idea that should be embraced. Having more options for things like that is better options, and they could have just added the lion dudes later
how is it inclusion, if you are saying they shouldnt have made this "male power fantasy" race. How is it a male power fantasy if it isnt actually a fantasy for most males? You realize the concept of the super diesel powerful male is only a thing recently (last 20-30 years) and only in America, and its not even the most common or popular male fantasy. In fact now, its already a rarity. Look up idealized male, and you wont find the majority to be steroid body builders, and very few generally husky males.

if they only had resources/allotment/time/demand for two races, they would have had to make a choice, they cant have everything for everyone. Dont bring gender norms into a game where there is only one large male race and 3 slim male races.

i agree large cat male race probably wont be super popular in FF, because in the ff world large males are the unloved under represented outlier, so it makes no sense in this case to argue that hrothgar is pandering to the norms, and excluding those who prefer slim, prettier males, they already have 3 males for that.

its fine to say you want more, but dont act like FF is all of a sudden some hyper masculine male fantasy because 2 out of 7 male body types are large.
